First single off Loud.com’s upcoming mixtape, Loud.com Presents… Get LOUD, hosted by Mr. Peter Parker. They’re looking for a December 12th release, but it may change. Looking at the line up I can say we’re in for a treat. Camp Lo f. Styles P & Pete Rock (included below), Freeway, Saigon, Grafh, Termanology, Skyzoo, Serius Jones, Rain, Emilio Rojas, Chaundon, Mickey Factz, Reef The Lost Cauze, The CunninLynguists and others are all confirmed to make appearances. As you know, the NMC are firm supporters of Camp Lo. And this track should have some indication on why that is so. Linking up with Styles P & Pete Rock for a remix to their OnSMASH record that was featured on the NMC EP.

All you reall hip hop heads pay attention… this post is for you! Major props go out to the guys over at The Real Frequency. Deez introduced me to these guys recently, who apparently have one of the best hip hop radio shows in the Toronto area. In their latest podcast, Keezy and Arcee get down with K-Cut (one third of the legendary hip hop group Main Source) on the classic Breaking Atom’s record to uncover a track aimed at Eric B, the origins of mentor Paul C, the creative process behind JustHangin’ out. They also got some exclusive, never heard before select cuts from the original second Main Source album “The Science” that have yet to see the light of day…. until now.

The title is twofold in name – an allusion to the mythic dirty joke told and retold by comedians and the subject of a documentary of the same name in 2005. Also, it’s a reference to Wafeek’s ability to carry the torch on behalf of Hip-Hop’s grand tradition of storytellers.

Wafeek has taken a novel approach, eliminating the bells and whistles to simply create a mixtape full of damn good music. This barebones approach captures Wafeek’s essence; each song is a conversation in which the St. Louis MC reveals details about himself and his credo while inviting the listener to add input.
